MSU football locks in official visit from Georgia CB prospect

Michigan State football has locked in an official visit from a southern cornerback prospect that has received plenty of power four attention.

Kayden Battle of Powder Springs, Ga. announced on Monday that he will be taking an official visit to Michigan State this summer. Per a social media post from Battle, he will visit Michigan State on June 19.

Battle is listed on 247Sports as a cornerback at 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds. He is unranked and unrated at this time, but has started to pick up a ton of interest on the recruiting trail.

According to 247Sports, he holds offers from more than 20 schools, including Michigan State. Outside of his offer from the Spartans, he also has been offered by Stanford, Pitt, Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Miami (FL), North Carolina, UCF, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and a host of group of six schools.

Along with his upcoming official visit to Michigan State, Battle is set to visit Stanford and Pitt in June. Both of those visits will come prior to his visit to Michigan State, according to 247Sports.
