MSU football offers 3-star Connecticut DL prospect during unofficial visit

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a defensive lineman prospect following his unofficial visit this weekend.

Will Zaccagnino of Trumbull, Conn. announced on Saturday that he’s picked up an offer from the Spartans. Zaccagnino announced the offer via a social media post, stating the offer came after taking an unofficial visit to Michigan State on Saturday.

Zaccagnino is listed as a three-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 86 in 247Sports’ system. He ranks as the No. 106 defensive lineman and No. 3 player from Connecticut in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class. He is also ranked as the No. 974 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State joins a list of more than 10 schools to extend an offer to Zaccagnino, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Wisconsin, Syracuse, UConn, Illinois, Air Force, Army and Navy.

According to 247Sports, Zaccagnino is going to take an official visit to Michigan State on June 19. He also has official visits lined up with Wisconsin, UConn and Syracuse.
