Michigan State football has re-offered an elite in-state edge rusher in the 2028 class.
Jayden Bell of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. announced on Thursday that he’s been re-offered by the Spartans. Bell was originally offered by the previous Michigan State coaching staff in June of last year, and he has now been again offered by the new staff led by head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

Bell — who plays for powerhouse Brother Rice — is listed as a four-star edge rusher, with a recruiting rating of 93.68 in 247Sports’ composite rating system. He is ranked as the No. 3 edge rusher and No. 17 overall prospect in the 2028 class, according to 247Sports. He is also listed as the No. 2 player from Michigan in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to extend an offer his way, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Alabama, Boston College, Florida, Kansas, Indiana, Louisville, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
