MSU football to reportedly host highly-coveted WR prospect from Belleville, Mich.

A highly-coveted wide receiver prospect from the Ann Arbor area will reportedly take a visit to Michigan State next week.

Charles “Tre” Britton will reportedly take an unofficial visit to Michigan State next Friday for the Spartans’ season-opener against Western Michigan. Recruiting insider for 247Sports Allen Trieu posted about upcoming visit for Britton to Michigan State on Thursday.

Britton is also reportedly expected to take visits to Oklahoma and Michigan in September and October.

Britton is a three-star wide receiver prospect in the 2027 class, with a recruiting rating of 87 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 62 wide receiver and No. 10 player from Michigan in the class.

Michigan State is one of nearly 30 teams to offer Britton, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Purdue, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.
