A Michigan State transfer defensive lineman is heading back to his home state via the portal.
Michigan State transfer defensive lineman Tyler Gillison has committed to Ohio of the Mid-American Conference. Ohio announced Gillison’s commitment to the program via a social media post on Monday.

Gillison, who is originally from Pickerington, Ohio, has been at Michigan State for the last two seasons after starting his career at Cincinnati. Gillison appeared in nine gams this past season for the Spartans. He recorded two tackles during his time with the Spartans.
The transfer portal will remain open through Friday.
