HUNTSVILLE, Ala. − Middle Tennessee State women’s basketball will attempt to reach the Conference USA Tournament championship game.
The No. 2 seed Lady Raiders (25-7) play No. 3 Western Kentucky (23-8) in the semifinal Friday (8 p.m., ESPN+) at the Von Braun Center.
The Lady Raiders are attempting to win their third consecutive CUSA tournament and automatic NCAA Tournament berth. They reached the semifinals with a 73-46 win over Kennesaw State Wednesday.
MTSU split with Western Kentucky during the regular season. The rival Hilltoppers handed the Lady Raiders their first conference loss in more than 30 games with a 63-58 home win on Jan. 18. The Lady Raiders rebounded with a 73-63 home win in February.
The winner will play in Saturday’s conference title game at 4:30 p.m.
