Thursday’s Daytona duels set the field for the 2025 Daytona 500 NASCAR Cup Series race, which takes place Sunday at Daytona International Speedway.
Bubba Wallace won Duel 1 on Thursday, while Austin Cindric won Duel 2. Justin Allgaier and Corey Lajoie raced their way into the Daytona 500 by being the top open finishers in their respective duels. Helio Castroneves crashed early in Duel 1 and will start 41st by using the open exemption provisional.
Chase Briscoe claimed the pole in Wednesday’s qualifying session, with Austin Cindric setting the front row in second.
