NASCAR fans learned on Thursday that next month, they’ll be able to remember and reminisce Kyle Busch during a race.
Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha, announced on Instagram that Ty Gibbs will be rocking her late husband’s iconic M&Ms paint scheme, for the night race at Bristol in mid-September. Ty Gibbs drives the No. 54 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing.

“Bristol was always one of Kyle’s favorite tracks. He loved racing under the lights, found so much success there, and the iconic M&M’S car holds some of the best memories of his career and our life together,” Samantha Busch announced.
“Going back without him will be heartbreaking. He should be there. But I’m so grateful to be able to tell you that those iconic M&M’S colors will be coming back to Bristol, one last time, on the 54 car. It’s a chance to honor him at a place he loved so much, surrounded by our NASCAR family and the fans who loved him too. I know Kyle would want us to be there, to keep showing up, keep racing, and keep carrying his legacy forward.

Bristol was one of Busch’s favorite races. It’s tragic that he won’t be there driving his own car, but it’ll be cool to see his paint scheme back in action.

NASCAR’s night race at Bristol is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. E.T.
It’ll be an emotional one.
