The top ranked running back recruit in the nation, Savion Hiter, visited the Georgia Bulldogs football program over the weekend. Hiter, who is a member of the class of 2026 recruiting cycle, is a priority recruiting target for Georgia.
Hiter plays high school football for Louisa County High School in Mineral, Virginia. He previously played for Woodberry Forest School in Woodbery Forest, Virginia. Hiter also runs track and field and has outstanding speed. He is capable of taking any carry the distance.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound running back is the top-ranked recruit in Virginia, per 247Sports. Hiter is the No. 17 overall recruits in the country, but is still only ranked as a four-star recruit. He’s on the cusp of being ranked as a five-star. Regardless, Hiter is a dynamic running back with over two dozen scholarship offers.
The star running back visited Georgia last summer. Hiter is a shifty running back that will break arm tackles and plays similarly to Georgia running backs D’Andre Swift and Nate Frazier.
Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State and Tennessee are four other schools to watch in Hiter’s recruitment.
The Georgia Bulldogs have five commitments in the class of 2026. UGA has the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation, but there’s a long way to go before the early signing period in December, so Georgia fans should expect for the Bulldogs to climb the recruiting rankings before then.
Georgia’s latest 2026 commitment is from four-star safety Zech Fort, who is a hard-hitter.
