Friday’s action at the NCAA Men’s Championships saw Hubert Kos become the fastest man in history in the 100 backstroke, recording the first-ever swim under 43 seconds. After that, Yamato Okadome (200 breaststroke) and Josh Liendo (50 freestyle) each claimed their second victories of the meet, and Ahmed Hafnaoui continued his return to top form with a surprise win in the 500 free. For the third consecutive day, Arizona State earned a sprint relay victory as Remi Fabiani overtook Texas on the anchor leg.
