NCAA Women’s Division I Day 2 Prelims: Heat Sheets

The 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships are underway from Atlanta and the first full morning session is set to kick off.

The Day 2 preliminaries will feature the 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 free relay – all but the last heat of timed finals in the relay.

HEAT SHEETS

The 100 butterfly will feature Stanford senior Torri Huske as the top seed. She will be flanked by Indiana freshman Alex Shackell and Tennessee freshman Mizuki Hirai in the sixth heat of the event.

Virginia junior Claire Curzan will anchor the fifth heat with NC State sophomore Leah Shackley and Indiana junior Miranda Grana on either side.

The fourth heat will see Stanford senior Gigi Johnson, Michigan senior Brady Kendall and Texas junior Campbell Stoll.

The 400 IM is next up on the NCAA docket. Defending NCAA champion Caroline Bricker is the third overall seed heading into the meet and will swim in heat four of six, surrounded by Virginia’s Leah Hayes, Aimee Canny and Sophia Umstead.

Stanford’s Lucy Bell is in the fifth heat with Tennessee’s Ella Jansen and Texas junior Angie Coe.

The final heat will feature Michigan top seed Bella Sims, flanked by teammate Hannah Bellard and Virginia’s Katie Grimes.

The NCAA 200 freestyle will be interesting after Indiana freshman Liberty Clark went a 1:39.70 leading off the 800 free relay on Wednesday. She will be in heat four of six, along with Cal freshman Claire Weinstein and Virginia freshman Madi Mintenko.

The fifth head will see USC junior Minna Abraham flanked by Michigan’s Stephanie Balduccini and Cal’s Mia West.

The final heat will see Virginia sophomore Anna Moesch, who went a 1:39 at ACCs, the second-fastest time ever.

The 100 breaststroke will feature top seed Eneli Jefimova, a freshman from NC State, in heat six go head-to-head with Michigan senior Letitia Sim and Tennessee sophomore McKenzie Siroky.

Louisville’s Anastasia Gorbenko, Florida’s Anita Bottazzo and Virginia’s Emma Weber are also in the event.

The NCAA 200 free relay will feature Ohio State, Wisconsin, LSU, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, Auburn and Northwestern in the final heat of the morning.
