The Nebraska women’s basketball team made another addition via the transfer portal. Claire Johnson is the fourth transfer to join the Huskers this offseason.
Johnson played at Samford for the 2024-25 season. She averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. She earned second-team all-conference honors for her performance. Head coach Amy Williams says that she is thrilled to be adding Johnson to the Huskers roster.

Johnson joins transfers, Emily Fisher (Maryland), Eliza Maupin (Kansas State), and Hailey Weaver (Northwestern) on Nebraska’s roster for the 2025-26 season.
