The date for Nebraska basketball’s 2025 game against Creighton has been announced. The game will take place on Sunday, December 7. This was reported by Jon Rothstein on Tuesday afternoon.
Creighton leads the all-time series by a 30-28 margin. Nebraska won the last game in 2024 by a 74-63 score. The Huskers have beaten the Blue Jays two of the previous three times they’ve played.

Nebraska is coming off a 21-14 season that saw them finish 7-13 in Big Ten play. They made the most of their opportunity in the College Basketball Crown postseason tournament, winning it.
In the meantime, Creighton made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament, where it lost to top-seeded Auburn by 82-70. The Blue Jays finished the season with a 25-11 record.
This game is undoubtedly among the most exciting on the college basketball calendar. It will be interesting to see what these rosters look like when these two rivals match up.
