Nebraska basketball is hosting Utah transfer forward Ezra Ausar this weekend. This was confirmed by multiple media outlets.
Ausar measures in at six-foot-eight, 236 pounds. He averaged 12.5 points per game on the season, to go along with 5.0 rebounds. He shot 51.8% from the field and over 62% from the free-throw line. He will have one year of eligibility remaining after transferring.

Ausar first played at East Carolina University beginning in the 2022-23 season. He then transferred to Utah before the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
His game is similar to that of Juwan Gary. His rebounding ability and his ability to get to the free-throw line are just some of the similarities. The Huskers have done a solid job with the transfer portal this last week. They have landed five transfer portal commitments since April 4 and have been able to turn over the roster.
Ausar would be another great addition for Nebraska basketball. It will be interesting to see if this weekend’s visit makes a strong impression on him.
