The Indiana Pacers used $8.05 million of their non-taxpayer mid-level exception to bring in Kelly Oubre Jr. on a two-year contract worth $16.5 million.

Even after completing the signing, Indiana still has just under $7 million remaining from its mid-level exception to use.

However, because of the move, the Pacers will operate under the league’s first-apron hard cap for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, the Wizards are using the remaining value of their Kelly Olynyk trade exception to complete a sign-and-trade deal for Khris Middleton, giving him a fully guaranteed $5,591,112 salary for the 2026/27 campaign.

Middleton’s new three-year agreement is valued at $17,612,034 overall, with the second season carrying a partial guarantee worth $908,878.

John Collins has also finalized a new contract, agreeing to a three-year, $51 million deal with the Pistons.

The contract is evenly structured, with Collins set to count $17 million against the cap in each season.

At this stage, only the first year is fully guaranteed, while the salaries for the remaining two seasons will become guaranteed if he stays on the roster through June 28 of each respective year.
