The Philadelphia 76ers reshaped their roster this offseason with several major additions as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.

Philadelphia brought in veterans LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Dean Wade, Anfernee Simons, Ariel Hukporti and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, while also adding rookie Labaron Philon Jr. through the draft.

Those newcomers join a returning group led by Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe, giving head coach Nick Nurse numerous lineup possibilities to experiment with.

Sixers president of basketball operations Mike Gansey said Nurse is particularly enthusiastic about the different combinations available to him, describing the coach as “a kid in a candy store.”

Gansey said the excitement extends throughout the organization as the revamped roster prepares to come together.

“The vibes are high,” Gansey said. “Everyone’s excited. Once we get together, I’m excited to see what the journey’s going to look like.”
