Nick Saban dropped another NSFW analogy to describe college football flag-planting penalties

Alabama head coach Nick Saban joins the hosts of College GameDay ahead of the Tide’s game against LSU.

If ESPN’s College GameDay has a swear jar, it’s likely overflowing after former Alabama head coach Nick Saban joined the panel this season.

The legendary coach has often deployed some colorful language with impeccable timing. Which is to say this is a man who knows how to cuss. He doesn’t throw around an expletive just to show he knows them. Saban makes each swear land.

He set that tone early in the year when commenting on Ohio State’s $20 million roster. And Saban dropped another perfect NSFW analogy on air Saturday when the topic of flag-planting after rivalry games came up.

After being told both Michigan and Ohio State were each fined $100,000 for their postgame fight last week, Saban scoffed at the penalty.

“To fine these schools $100,000 is like worrying about mouse manure when you’re up to ears in elephant [expletive],” Saban said.

It’s a shame the camera was so zoomed in on Saban’s face. As the quick pan to Kirk Herbstreit moments later showed, the rest of the panel could hardly contain themselves.

Nick Saban may be retired from coaching college ball, but he’s still the best at cussing in the game.
