Longtime MLB insider Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported today in an appearance on Foul Territory TV that 10 team shad contacted the Houston Astros to inquire about SS Jeremy Pena. All were rebuffed.
Nightengale mentions Astros owner Jim Crane is highly aggressive and his stated desire to not have a rebuild.
