Noah Thomas and Kentrel Bullock joining Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are still finishing up their undrafted free agent signings that follow directly after the draft.

We get to update the list with two new players to get the total to 10 of the 12 that do not require corresponding moves by the team.

The first is South Alabama running back Kentrel Bullock.

Bullock is a straightforward, downhill runner. He is a one-cut guy whose build makes him hard to bring down at times or stop from falling forward.

He had over 2,000 rushing yards on a 5.2-yard average per carry. He also ran for 25 touchdowns. He has some real work to do as a receiver and pass blocker.

More realistically, he will have to show up on special teams in order to stick to the roster when cuts come. Otherwise, he is competing for a practice squad spot.

The other addition is Georgia wide receiver Noah Thomas.

The Bengals drafted his teammate Colbie Young in the fourth round. Thomas didn’t accomplish much during his one year stint at Georgia after transferring from Texas A&M.

His best season came as a junior, when he had 39 catches for 574 yards and eight touchdowns with the Aggies. Even though he only caught 16 passes at Georgia, four of them were for touchdowns. He had a real knack for the end zone. He knows how to use his big body to make contested catches.

Again, special teams might determine whether he actually has a shot at the roster or is more likely to be a practice squad guy come the end of the preseason.
