Not only is Notre Dame football having a huge game this weekend against USC, they’ll welcome in another elite group of recruits to South Bend.
The Irish already knew that 5-star 2027 running back Kemon Spell would be on campus, and the list just got more exciting on Tuesday afternoon. Rivals is reporting that Ohio State 5-star wide receiver commit Jamier Brown will be in South Bend this weekend to watch the rivalry game against the Trojans.

The 5-foot, 11-inch and 170-pound Ohio native committed to the Buckeyes last November, but Notre Dame has been recruiting him since February of 2024 when they offered. Brown is an elite prospect, ranking as the No. 6 overall player in his class, and the top receiver in the country according to the 247Sports Composite.
If the Irish are able to flip Brown, it would be a massive recruiting win, especially considering who he is currently committed to. It would show that Notre Dame has the ability to lure an elite Midwest player over some of the other top powers in the region.
