Sanchez has competed for Spain in international tournaments, most recently the 2022 and 2023 FIBA Women’s European Championships.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gisela to our Notre Dame family,” Notre Dame coach Niele Ivey said in a press release. “Gisela brings size, depth and versatility to our team. With her ability to stretch the floor and attack off the bounce, she will be an incredible addition to our dynamic offense.
