LAS VEGAS – Nyamjargal Tumendemberel met the media Saturday after his win over Cody Durden at UFC 324.
Tumendemberel (10-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) outworked Durden (17-10-1 MMA, 6-8-1 UFC), who had more than twice his total experience as a pro, for a unanimous decision on the prelims at T-Mobile Arena.

Right before Tumendemberel beat Durden, another flyweight, Su Mudaerji, picked up a win over Jesus Aguilar. Tumendemberel thinks the timing is right for them to get paired up against each other next.
“I watched that fight in the back room while we were warming up, and I think that’s an easy fight for me,” Tumendemberel, from Mongolia, said. “Why not? He and I have Tibetan origin names, so why not?”
