Ohio State football issues availability report, injury status for game against Grambling

by

Ohio State is ready to build on the statement win against Texas by hosting FCS opponent Grambling State on Saturday. To make a run at defending this whole College Football Playoff national championship, the Buckeyes have to not only play well, but they’ll need some breaks, and also must stay away from the injury bug — or at least not have a run of key injuries.

OSU got out of Week 1 fairly well, but there was a concerning injury to starting defensive tackle Kenyatta Jackson Jr., which had everyone a bit concerned.

The Buckeyes don’t release a traditional injury report but do provide who is unavailable for each game just a couple of hours ahead of time, and we just got the “availability report” for the game against Grambling State. The good news is that Jackson is not listed as unavailable, and it also appears as though Ohio State will have all of its starters for this one as well.

Here’s the complete list of players listed as unavailable for Saturday against Grambling State.

  • DB Brenten “Inky” Jones

  • RB Anthony “Turbo” Rogers
