The Oklahoma Sooners 2026 recruiting class is coming together. They currently have seven players committed in the cycle, and with a pair of big recruiting weekends in June, the class could see several more commitments in the next few weeks.
In the 2025 recruiting class, the Sooners received five commitments in June and July. In the 2024 cycle, Oklahoma received 10 pledges. So, the next eight weeks could be a huge move in the 2026 class for head coach Brent Venables, general manager Jim Nagy, and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Here’s a look at who is currently committed to the 2026 recruiting class.
Ryder Mix, TE
Commitment Date: 6/15/2024
Ryder Mix, a three-star TE out of Frisco, is the longest-tenured commitment in the class. He’s an athletic receiving threat and has good size. Mix chose Oklahoma over offers fromĀ Ohio State,Ā Michigan, Miami,Ā Florida State, andĀ Oregon.

Jaden O’Neal, QB
Commitment Date: 6/24/2024
Jaden O’Neal reaffirmed his commitment to Oklahoma even after the offensive coordinator change in 2024. O’Neal is a talented passer with a big arm and fantastic accuracy. He’s also taken visits to Georgia and Florida State and could be on flip watch.

Will Conroy, OL
Commitment Date: 12/16/2024
Will Conroy was the first offensive line commit in the 2026 class for Bill Bedenbaugh. He’s an impressive interior offensive lineman who chose the Sooners over offers from Michigan, Miami, Arizona State, and Florida. Conroy will spend his senior season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Daniel Odom, WR
Commitment Date: 1/28/2025
Daniel Odom is a route-running dynamo who possesses the ability to create after the catch. Odom has the size and athleticism to win in the air and shows off the strength to win 50-50 balls.

Niko Jandreau, S
Commitment Date: 5/13/2025
Niko Jandreau represented the Oklahoma Sooners’ first defensive commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle. He plays safety with his hair on fire. Jandreau is fast, physical, and plays with a relentless motor.

Jakore Smith, LB
Commitment Date: 5/15/2025
Jakore Smith is an athletic linebacker who had offers from in-state program Arkansas along with Nebraska and Florida State. He’s fast and arrives to the ball carrier with force. He could be deployed as an inside linebacker but displays the versatility to play cheetah as well.

Brian Harris, DL
Commitment Date: 5/23/2025
The Sooners found a gem in Jacksonville, Fla. defensive lineman Brian Harris. He’s got great size at 6-foot-3 and nearly 300 pounds. While playing most of his junior season at defensive end, Harris showed off incredible athletics for a player his size. He projects as a defensive tackle at the collegiate level where his quickness and agility will create problems for opposing guards.
