Oklahoma Sooners just lost out on one of the best 2027 athletes in the class to a College Football Playoff team

The Oklahoma Sooners didn’t really need much more players like that in their 2027 recruiting class, though.

Every team misses out on players, especially elite players. The Oklahoma Sooners have not missed on many guys in the 2027 recruiting class. They have the No. 1 class, and that’s from the hard work they’ve put in.

However, they have missed a few guys this week. The first major one was Gudeon Gash, one of the best players in the 2027 class. However, it’s not one that will hurt OU. They weren’t a major player for him, but they were one of the final teams in contention for Gash. He’s a 6’4, 204-pound athlete and the No. 4 athlete in the class. Gash is the No. 2 player in Michigan and the No. 73 player in the country.
