The Oklahoma Sooners are in the mix for one of the best offensive tackles in the 2026 recruiting class in four-star prospect Felix Ojo.
Ojo, who ranks as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation according to Rivals and No. 6 according to 247Sports, dropped his top eight schools on Thursday, which included the Oklahoma Sooners. Along with OU, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ole Miss make up an elite recruiting battle for the highly-ranked Ojo.
Out of Mansfield, Texas, Ojo is an imposing 6-foot-6 (247Sports) and moves incredibly well. He’s strong at the point of attack and fires out of his stance with physicality. Once he latches onto defenders, they don’t get loose. He’s strong and has great length. He’s a true offensive tackle prospect with fantastic athleticism.
Ojo’s received 43 offers this cycle, including 12 SEC offers.
After Oklahoma received commitments from Michael Fasusi and Ryan Fodje in the 2025 recruiting class, Bill Bedenbaugh and the Sooners are hoping to add another elite offensive tackle prospect through the 2026 recruiting class.
Ojo’s recruitment will be one of the more high-profile pursuits in the 2026 cycle and will likely go till signing day.
