Oklahoma State at Colorado injury report: Latest news, updates for Week 14

Back in Boulder after a disappointing loss to Kansas, the Colorado Buffaloes will welcome the struggling Oklahoma State Cowboys to Folsom Field on Friday for their regular season finale.

Overall, Colorado (8-3, 6-2 Big 12) has been fortunate in terms of injuries this season. Losing wide receiver Omarion Miller and kickoff specialist Jace Feely for the season stung, but most of the Buffs’ key players have remained healthy.

The injury bug hasn’t been as kind to Oklahoma State, however. The Cowboys have watched several big names go down with injuries, leading to a 3-8 (0-8 Big 12) record entering Week 14.

Below are the latest injury updates for Friday’s regular season finale between Colorado and Oklahoma State:

Colorado DB Preston Hodge

Nickelback Preston Hodge has missed Colorado’s past two games due to injury and won’t play again on Friday, according to Coach Prime.

Colorado RB Isaiah Augustave

Colorado running backs coach Gary Harrell revealed Wednesday that Isaiah Augustave suffered a hip injury against Kansas and is doubtful for Friday, per Mat Smith.

Colorado DT Shane Cokes

Defensive tackle Shane Cokes, who hasn’t played since Oct. 26 against Cincinnati, is expected to return for Colorado’s regular season finale.

Colorado DT Amari McNeill

Coach Prime revealed Tuesday that defensive tackle Amari McNeill won’t play against Oklahoma State. In the Buffs’ past three games combined, McNeill recorded 16 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks.

Colorado RT Phillip Houston

Starting right tackle Phillip Houston will not play in Colorado’s regular season finale due to a possible ACL injury suffered at Kansas. Expect Kahlil Benson to start at right tackle on Friday.

Colorado WR Jimmy Horn Jr.

According to Coach Prime, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. has an “outside shot” to play on Friday. Horn last saw the field on Oct. 26 against Cincinnati.
