STILLWATER — David Taylor’s connections to the powerhouse Penn State wrestling program has produced fruit once again for Oklahoma State.

Ryder was a top-five recruit when he signed with Penn State in the 2024 class, and has four years of eligibility remaining.

He joins former Penn State wrestlers Alex Facundo, who has bounced between 157 and 165 pounds in his three college seasons, and Gary Steen, who has wrestled at 125 and 133.

The Penn State trio makes four total portal transfers for the Cowboys so far, along with Iowa State All-American Casey Swiderski at 149 pounds. On top of that, the Pokes already had signed the No. 2 recruiting class from the high school ranks.
