One Thing Each Penguins’ Player Should Ask Santa For This Holiday Season

Each year, people across the world ask the man in red with the long white beard to deliver something on their holiday wish list.

As for the Pittsburgh Penguins? They deserve to have some wishes granted by Hockey Santa, too.

So what would each Penguin ask Santa for, given the chance?

Noel Acciari: Tylenol – for all the blocked shots.

Anthony Beauvillier: To stop getting traded more than cash at the checkout counter.

Michael Bunting: To stay on the first power play unit until the end of time.

Sidney Crosby: To break Wayne Gretzky’s point-per-game seasons record come April.

Cody Glass: A more extended look in the top-six.

Kevin Hayes: Another real shot at being a mainstay in the lineup.

Blake Lizotte: To find a permanent spot as the team’s third-line center. And as a bonus? Additional room on the shelf for the inevitable future Rocket Richard.

Evgeni Malkin: For the folks to stay in Pittsburgh for the rest of the season.

Matt Nieto: No more injuries, please.

Drew O’Connor: A goal.

Jesse Puljujarvi: A trade to a team that will truly appreciate his talents.

Rickard Rakell: An apology letter from Team Sweden.

Bryan Rust: Some love and consideration from Team USA for the Olympics in 2026.

Philip Tomasino: More time with one of his childhood heroes, Evgeni Malkin.

Ryan Graves: To actually stay in the lineup when it’s deserved.

Matt Grzelcyk: For the chemistry with Erik Karlsson to be the real thing.

P.O Joseph: To actually stick around this time.

Erik Karlsson: To win over the people of Pittsburgh with the best version of himself marching the Penguins to a playoff berth.

Kris Letang: For Marcus Pettersson to get healthy ASAP.

Marcus Pettersson: Would love to stay, but would also love to go to a bona fide Cup contender at the deadline.

Owen Pickering: A Cody Glass voodoo doll.

Ryan Shea: For the coaching staff to realize that he’s, indeed, not a right defenseman.

Tristan Jarry: For better team defense in the first few minutes of first periods.

Alex Nedeljkovic: For the Cleveland Browns to finally make the… nevermind.
