This week Hythloday is publishing his annual Ohio State summer roster preview and to set the table I thought I would go down memory lane to past Ducks vs Buckeye matchups. Ohio State has to be considered Oregon’s white whale when it comes to the football field as it seems like a high proportion of our best seasons sadly ended with a loss to Ohio State.

In 2021 Oregon overcame the odds, walked into the shoe, and pulled off a massive upset over Ohio State. That was followed up with an ultra exciting regular season matchup the Ducks won 3 years later in their inaugural B1G season to give the Ducks the rare 2 game win streak over the Buckeyes.
