Oklahoma football coach Brent Venables offered some injury updates on Thursday.
Sooners running back Tory Blaylock will miss the entire spring. An SEC All-Freshman Team selection, Blaylock played in all 13 games and made six starts at running back.

A positive sign for OU: running back Xavier Robinson is practicing and looked the part during the first practice on Wednesday.
Venables also said Thursday that defensive tackle David Stone won’t practice much at all this spring as he works to get healthy this offseason. Defensive tackle Jayden Jackson is also recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, Venables said.
In addition to those two players, defensive end Adepoju Adebawore is still recovering from foot surgery.
Venables said Virginia transfer wide receiver Trell Harris, who totaled 59 receptions for 847 yards and five touchdowns last season, had a “cleanup” procedure and will be out for a couple of weeks.
