NORMAN — Oklahoma sophomore guard Zya Vann is entering the transfer portal, she announced on April 4.
In two seasons with the Sooners, Vann averaged 8.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
Vann is the first OU player to enter the portal since its season ended. Vann, an Edmond native, was a finalist for The Oklahoman’s 2024 Super 5 girls basketball Player of the Year.

“After a lot of hard conversations, prayer and consideration, I have decided to explore my options and enter the transfer portal,” Vann wrote on social media. “I am excited for the next chapter and honored for my journey as a Sooner.”
