Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis UFC 329 expert pick, prediction
The co-main event for UFC 329 features a lightweight showdown between Benoit Saint-Denis and Paddy Pimblett.
Although I initially came into this fight leaning toward Saint Denis, I ended up being swayed to the Pimblett side of things.
I’ve been wrong about Saint Denis before, and I applaud both him and his newfound head coach, Nicolas Ott, for the winning streak the Frenchman finds himself on. However, when looking back at the tape, Saint Denis still shows a lot of the striking holes that have plagued him in the past.

Pimblett is certainly no standard for technique, but the scouser has an awkward rhythm that gives fighters at all levels issues. Add in Pimblett’s insane opportunistic sensibilities and stupid durability, and I can’t help but see the English fighter capitalize on the first few Saint Denis mistakes.
The official pick is for Pimblett to force a stoppage via strikes in Round 2.
Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis UFC 329 odds
Despite the oddsmakers opening this fight as a pick’em, public money has pushed the French fighter to the favorite position, listing Saint Denis -154 and Pimblett +126 via FanDuel.
