
There’s a new star in the WNBA and she goes by the name of Paige Bueckers.
After four years with the UConn Huskies, Bueckers will now embark on her WNBA career with the Dallas Wings, having been drafted by the organization with the No. 1 overall pick in 2025.

Despite being one of the youngest players on the roster, Bueckers will now be tasked with leading the Wings organization in her first season in the WNBA.
Before officially taking on that responsibility, Bueckers and the rest of her Wings teammates participated in Media Day, where they take individual and team photos, as well as meet with reporters for preseason questions.
During Media Day, Bueckers showed off her new look. Buekcers is often seen with front parted braids, especially when she’s rocking a jersey or participating in team events.
On Wednesday, she showcased the hair down look, split down the middle.
After several photos of Bueckers with her hair down hit the internet, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on her hairstyle with the Dallas Wings.

Bueckers previously hinted that once she entered the WNBA she would be retiring her braids, which she wore during her time at UConn. A photo of Bueckers’ braids is posted above.
“I think it’s time for a switch up,” Bueckers said. “The braids, they had a good run.”
