The New England Patriots made several changes to their roster since the start of free agency earlier this month, and as a consequence also had to hand out a bunch of new jersey numbers. The first batch of those has already been unveiled, and now the team has added to the list.
A total of nine more players have been awarded their digits, which in turn means that all players on the roster now have numbers associated with their names.

This latest list of new jersey numbers includes free agency signings Kindle Vildor, K.J. Britt, Jesse Luketa, Niko Lalos and James Hudson, as well as three players — Elijah Mitchell, Brandon Crossley, Sebastian Gutierrez — who had been on the Patriots practice squad in 2025.
The ninth player in question is tight end C.J. Dippre, who wore 82 during his rookie season but has now made the switch to the number he wore during his time at the University of Alabama. No. 81 became available when fellow tight end Austin Hooper left New England in free agency.
