Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, got a step up in competition and got all twisted up.
On the prelims of PFL Austin at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, Ali Walsh (4-2) stepped into the cage to face undefeated Gamid Khizriev in the lone lightweight bout on the card. The fight would only last 2:32 after Khizriev (5-0) locked up a rare twister submission.

The fight hit the canvas midway through the first round, and that’s where it would end. Ali Walsh attempted to turn into Khizriev from top position, but that was a mistake. Khizriev was setting up a twister, and got it fully locked in, causing Ali Walsh to quickly tap.

Ali Walsh has been highly touted by the PFL over the years because of his bloodline. He’s shown to be a dangerous finisher, but now suffers his second submission loss. His first came last June, in a massive upset loss against Ronnie Gibbs.
Dagestan’s Khizriev is a slick finisher as well and proved that here. Like Ali Walsh, he’s only gone to the scorecards once as a pro. Otherwise, he has finished his opponents by submission or strikes.
