Purdue, winners of two of the last four Big Ten regular seasons, and last year’s Big Ten Tournament, now will know its road to its 25th Big Ten regular season title.

Once again, Purdue’s rivalary with Indiana is protected with the in-state programs playing at both Mackey Arena and Assembly Hall. Joining that, Purdue will return to Illinois this year and host the Fighting Illini after Purdue lost its only game against Illinois at Mackey Arena last season.

For the fourth straight season, Purdue will be making the trip Jersey to take on Rutgers. This time Purdue will also host Rutgers at Mackey Arena

Purdue’s west coast trip this season will avoid both Californ teams, and instead will require Purdue to play against both Oregon and Washington as it did two seasons ago.

Things don’t get easier on the road. Purdue avoided having to travel to both Michigan schools last year.

This season, with both the Spartans and Wolverines as early favorites in the conference, Purdue will have to play both teams just once, both on the road.

Minnesota and Penn State will both be just road games for Purdue as well. Both schools are longer travel days for Purdue, but the two programs have been at the bottom of the Big Ten consistently but Purdue lost in its last trip to Penn State in 24-25 to start off its Big Ten slate.

That leaves with only hosting the rest of the Big Ten including games against Ohio State, Nebraska, and Northwestern where Purdue has struggled recently on the road. Iowa, Maryland, and both California teams will also be taking the trip to Mackey Arena for the only regular season matchup for Purdue.

Here’s a full breakdown of who and where Purdue will play in the 2026-27 season as it transitions from life without Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer, and Trey Kaufman-Renn.
