When you look on the sidelines today in Mackey Arena you’ll see two Big Ten legends as Matt Painter and the Boilermakers take on Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans. This is a game with huge implications in the Big Ten standings as the two teams sit tied for 4th place with the winner jumping into a tie for second while the loser falls to 5th place. The top 4 teams in the Big Ten Tournament get the multiple double triple quadruple bye that the conference now has to do since there are roughly 678 teams in the conference.
Michigan State has had problems in Mackey Arena lately and the hope is that those struggles continue. Check out Casey and Drew’s previews on the site in preparation for this one.
