WEST LAFAYETTE − Every starting member of Purdue football‘s 2024 secondary is now officially gone.
Three of them will be playing for teams in this season’s College Football Playoff after cornerback Kyndrich Breedlove committed to Arizona State on Monday.
Breedlove follows fellow Purdue secondary mate Nyland Green to the Sun Devils. He becomes the 29th departure via the portal from Purdue’s 2024 roster.
It will be the fourth program Breedlove has played for in four seasons.
After playing in nine games for Ole Miss in 2021, Breedlove redshirted the 2022 season and transferred to Colorado. After one year with the Buffaloes, he transferred to Purdue.

In 2024, Breedlove led the Boilermakers with three interceptions. He also had 40 tackles, including two for loss, and four pass breakups. He joins an Arizona State team coming off an 11-3 season and a Big 12 Championship. The Sun Devils lost in two overtimes to Texas in the CFP quarterfinals.
