Buzz is already generating around EA Sports as fans anticipate the July 10 release of the NCAA Football 26 video game, but the developer gave fans something new to look forward to Friday morning.
Using a photo of a basketball with their emblem, EA announced the relaunch of its college basketball video game with a social media post.

The caption left little to the imagination: “Bring the Madness. Let’s run it back.”
Purdue guard and known gamer Braden Smith was quick to share his excitement about the developing game on social media.
“Need it,” Smith Tweeted, reposting Purdue’s announcement.

The 6-foot guard is returning to Purdue after a strong junior season, though his talent was enough to consider other NIL or transfer opportunities, or even the NBA. He averaged 37 minutes and 15.8 points per game last season, so it’s understandable he’s a little tired after games.
How does he unwind? Video games.
“I just relax, to be honest with you. Maybe play XBox,” Smith told Boiler Upload in February. “Just take my mind off of stuff. I just naturally heal — I believe in that. Just getting off my feet and relaxing on a day off and enjoying it.”
Now entering his senior season with the Boilermakers, Smith won’t be in the NCAA when Basketball 28 drops, but there’s no doubt he’ll be playing.
