LSU football coach Lane Kiffin picked up his most famous addition with the Tigers so far on Thursday, March 26.

Rapper Toosii — real name Nau’jour Grainger — appeared on the Tigers roster as a wide receiver, wearing No. 89. Grainger played football for Rolesville High School in North Carolina, but put his football career on pause to focus on his music.

In December 2025, Grainger came out of his football retirement and accepted an offer from Syracuse to play wide receiver for the Orange. Before the start of spring practice, though, Grainger enrolled at LSU. On Tuesday, he made his debut in the Tigers’ spring practice, catching passes from quarterback Husan Longstreet.

LSU’s 2026 football season is set to start on Saturday, Sept. 5, against Clemson.
