The Toronto Raptors have added another young guard to their developmental pipeline, agreeing to a two-way contract with second-round pick Jaden Bradley. NBA insider Michael Scotto reported Saturday that Toronto reached the agreement with the No. 50 overall selection from the 2026 NBA Draft after the former Arizona standout earned Big 12 Player of the Year honors during his senior season.
Bradley arrives in Toronto after a four-year collegiate career split between Alabama and Arizona. He steadily developed into one of the nation’s most reliable two-way guards, finishing his senior campaign by averaging 13.3 points, 4.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 30.6 minutes across 39 games. He shot 46.3% from the field, 39.4% from three-point range and 80.9% from the free-throw line while recording 170 assists against 68 turnovers, an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.5-to-1.
His progression at Arizona was evident over three seasons. After averaging 7.0 points following his transfer from Alabama, Bradley increased his production to 12.1 points and 3.7 assists as a junior before posting career highs in points and assists as a senior. His perimeter shooting also improved dramatically, climbing from 31.8% as a freshman at Alabama to 46.4% during his first Arizona season before settling at 39.4% in his final year.
Bradley’s combination of ball handling, decision-making and point-of-attack defense gives Toronto another young backcourt option. Throughout his college career, he averaged 9.7 points, 3.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 149 games while shooting 45.2% overall, 36.6% from beyond the arc and 78.9% at the foul line.
The two-way contract provides Bradley an opportunity to split time between the Raptors and their G League affiliate while competing for minutes behind an established guard rotation.
Toronto returns starting point guard Immanuel Quickley, who averaged 16.4 points and 5.9 assists during the 2025-26 season, while Jamal Shead contributed 6.6 points and 5.4 assists as a reserve in all 82 games. Ja’Kobe Walter also remains part of the team’s young core after shooting 40.9% from three-point range.
Bradley joins a franchise that finished 46-36 last season, good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference before losing a seven-game first-round playoff series to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since the season ended, Toronto has dramatically reshaped its roster, headlined by the blockbuster acquisition of Kawhi Leonard in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and multiple draft assets. The Raptors also selected forward Allen Graves with the 19th overall pick before drafting Bradley early in the second round.
