Another Trojan is off the board! On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens selected USC wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, taking him at No. 80.
After playing a reserve role as a true freshman in 2023, Lane started at wide receiver for past two seasons for the Trojans. He finishes his career in Cardinal and Gold with 99 receptions for 1,363 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Perhaps Lane’s two most memorable moments at USC both occurred in Las Vegas. During the 2024 season opener against LSU, his 28-yard touchdown reception gave the Trojans the lead late in the fourth quarter. Then, in last season’s Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M, Lane caught seven passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns, earning game MVP honors.
Lane did not have nearly the same level of college production as his former USC teammate Makai Lemon. However, he has a ton of talent, and should push for immediate playing time in Baltimore with Lamar Jackson as his quarterback under a new coaching staff after the departure of John Harbaugh.
