Ravenwood three-star quarterback Femi Babalola has committed to Boston College, he announced June 30 on Instagram.

In June, Babalola made visits to Arizona, Maryland and Boston College. His final six schools also included Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. Babalola is the No. 39-ranked recruit in Tennessee and No. 66-ranked quarterback in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite.

Babalola missed his entire freshman season with a broken elbow in his throwing arm and entered his sophomore year as Ravenwood’s third-string quarterback, behind Maverick Chance and Stephen Nieves.

Injuries to Nieves and Chance on Week 1 of the season meant Babalola stepped in as the starter, leading Ravenwood to a 9-4 record while completing 158-of-240 passes for 1,944 yards and 13 touchdowns with seven interceptions.

Babalola then helped push Ravenwood to a 13-1 record as a junior last season, splitting snaps with Chance. He went 80-of-141 passing for 1,248 yards and 11 TDs, with 151 yards rushing and three TDs. Ravenwood reached the Class 6A state semifinals, falling to Houston, 24-21.
