Missouri football is a step behind its conference rivals in the Class of 2026, but the Tigers have an opportunity to play some catchup this summer.
Over the course of the next month, Mizzou is expected to host nearly 30 official visitors in Columbia. The players Missouri lands among those rising high school seniors are likely to form the bulk of their next recruiting class.

As it stands, 247Sports’ composite recruiting rankings has MU at No. 76 in the country and No. 15 in the SEC for the Class of 2026. Mizzou has two players currently committed: Composite four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar out of Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, and in-state, four-star linebacker/safety Keenan Harris out of St. Louis University High.
At two committed players, only Kentucky currently has fewer commitments among MU’s SEC peers. Other than UK, Missouri and Florida, none of the other 13 teams in the league have fewer than five commitments to this point.
Of course, the importance of high school recruiting in the era of the transfer portal is worth debating. The bulk of the players the Tigers sign when the early national signing period in December rolls around are more likely than ever to move to a new school within a year or two.
Still, the size of Mizzou’s recruiting class is likely to significantly change — and change quickly — in Columbia over the summer months.

Here are 10 of the top recruits and targets Mizzou will host this upcoming month. All ratings come from 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Jabari Brady, wide receiver
Official visit date: May 30
National ranking: No. 270
Position ranking: No. 45 (WR)
Mizzou has had some recruiting success with Florida-based wide receivers in recent seasons, and the 6-foot-1½, four-star wideout out of Pompano Beach only has one official visit currently lined up: Columbia. Michigan and Oklahoma are among the teams who have offered, but early indications appear to have MU in a good position.
Bennett Fraser, offensive lineman
Official visit date: June 20

National ranking: Unranked
Position ranking: Unranked
Fraser, who is unranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings but carries a three-star rating in their own list, is from just an hour and some change away in Kirksville, Missouri. The 6-5, 260-pound interior offensive lineman also will visit Kansas State and has an offer from Northwestern.
Isaac Jensen, tight end
Official visit date: June 6
National ranking: No. 751
Position ranking: No. 40
Jensen is a 6-6, 205-pound tight end out of Omaha and has a three-star rating. His high school teammate, four-star quarterback Jett Thomala, recently committed to Iowa State, where Jensen will take his first official visit of the summer. He’s also expected to take trips to Texas A&M and Florida State.

Mizzou is also in the mix for another Jensen at tight end — UCLA commit Camden Jensen, who will visit June 6, too.
Kevin Sullivan, tight end
Official visit date: June 20
National ranking: Unranked
Position ranking: Unranked
Sullivan, listed at 6-6, 220 pounds, is an in-state prospect currently without a composite ranking, although 247Sports’ own ratings list the Kansas City native and Rockhurst High product as a three-star recruit and the No. 9 player in Missouri. The Tigers get Sullivan’s final official visit, after he takes trips to Iowa State, Kansas and Vanderbilt.
Nick Hankins, cornerback
Official visit date: May 30

National ranking: No. 351
Position ranking: No. 27 (CB)
Hankins recently posted Mizzou among his top-five schools alongside Tennessee, Iowa, Ole Miss and Illinois, with official visits also lined up with the Vols and Illini in June. Missouri gets the first visit from the four-star corner, who is listed at 6-0, 190, and hails from Belleville, Illinois, near St. Louis.
Evan Goodwin, offensive lineman
Official visit date: May 30
National ranking: No. 239
Position ranking: No. 19 (OT)
Goodwin, a four-star offensive lineman out of Bauxite, Arkansas, also has official visits with Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Notre Dame. He recently hosted an in-home visit with Missouri offensive line coach Brandon Jones.

Brown is a three-star defensive back out of Plano, Texas, and has included Missouri in his top five schools alongside Vanderbilt, TCU, Michigan State and Kansas State.
Jordan Campbell, linebacker
Official visit date: June 20
National ranking: No. 115

Jayden McGregory, safety
Official visit date: June 6

National ranking: No. 396

Mason James, wide receiver
Norman North’s Mason James can not make a reception during the high school football game between Norman North and Edmond Memorial at Norman High School in Norman, Okla., Thursday, Sept., 26, 2024.
Official visit date: May 30
National ranking: No. 228
Position ranking: No. 37 (WR)
James, a four-star prospect at wideout, has a prestigious list of official visits, with Washington, Texas and Oklahoma on the docket for June. But Missouri gets the Norman, Oklahoma, native on its campus first, which could be a good sign for the top 250 prospect and No. 2 player in his home state.
