Former Arizona Wildcats guard Kerr Kriisa has been arrested by the FBI for his connection in a multimillion dollar fraud scheme, according to KSR of On3.
Kriisa is being extradited back to Kentucky with a court hearing scheduled for next week, the site reported, citing multiple sources. Kriisa was in Kentucky preparing to play for La Familia in The Basketball Tournament.
The 25-year-old Kriisa exhausted his college eligibility after competing for the Cincinnati Bearcats in the 2025-26 season. Kriisa played his first three seasons at Arizona, followed by one year at West Virginia, one year at Kentucky and finally this past season at Cincinnati.

With the Bearcats, Kriisa averaged 5.8 points in 19 games. A shoulder injury forced Kriisa to miss part of the season. In Cincinnati’s game at McKale Center on January 21, Kriisa made a brief appearance at his former stomping grounds, playing two minutes.
The Estonia-born guard was part of former Wildcats head coach Sean Miller’s final recruiting class at Arizona. Kriisa missed the first 19 games of his freshman season after the NCAA forced him to sit out due to compensation he received playing for a professional club before joining Arizona program.
Kriisa remained with the program through Miller’s departure and the hiring of Tommy Lloyd. He started 65 games across the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
While at West Virginia, he was suspended nine games for accepting impermissible benefits during his time at Arizona.
