Chalmers’ PB ahead of Stockholm stood at 23.10 from the 2024 Australian Championships from which he sliced 0.21 as he became only the second Australian inside 23secs.

Nyls Korstanje of the Netherlands was second in 23.02 with Konrad Czerniak and Casper Puggaard sharing third in 23.54.
