Kirby Smart and Georgia football continue to add to their 2026 recruiting class.
On Sunday, four-star safety Jordan Smith announced his commitment to the Bulldogs. Smith is a top-100 player in the country, coming in at No. 95 in the 247 Sports Composite rankings and is another local win for Smart.

Georgia added five-star quarterback Jared Curtis to its recruiting class on May 5 and now holds nine commitments in its 2026 recruiting class. Curtis is the No. 2 overall player in the 2026 cycle.

Smith attended the local Houston County High, which is less than 130 miles from Athens. The 6-foot-1.5-inch defensive back committed to Georgia ahead of his scheduled official visit on May 30.
He also had Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Tennessee as his finalists.

Smith is a four-star prospect out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He is the No. 95 overall prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 8 safety and the No. 10 player from Georgia.
Georgia 2026 recruiting class
With the addition of Smith, Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class now holds nine commitments. Smith is the second-best recruit in the class, trailing only quarterback commit Jared Curtis, who is the No. 2 overall player in the class.

The Bulldogs’ 2026 recruiting class sits No. 10 in the country, according to 247 Sports and is the third-best in the SEC.
