Saturday Headlines: Volleyball Elite Eight and Indiana Gameday

by

Good morning, BBN!

It’s a big day to be a Cats fan. Two huge games are on the docket for us:

  • Kentucky Volleyball vs. Creighton in the Elite Eight at 5:00 PM EST in Memorial Coliseum on ESPN2.

  • Kentucky Basketball vs. Indiana at 7:30 PM EST in Rupp Arena on ESPN.

The Volleyball team has been on an absolute tear this year, but it’s not going to be easy against #3 Creighton.

They are a well-rounded squad whose players and coaches emphasize the challenge and importance of a collective effort.

If they win, they’ll head to the Final Four next week in Kansas City!

As for the basketball team, renewing their series with Indiana is great for College Basketball.

While both teams are struggling right now, it’s a game that has brought so many memories and moments that it’s nice to have it back.

With that said, the Cats are in must-win mode. It’s been ugly, but everything gets better if you start winning.

Big day. Go Cats!
