Sean Green, Gabi Brito Lead 2025-26 U.S. Junior National Team
Sean Green and Gabi Brito are among the headliners on the 2025-26 U.S. Junior National Team, released on Monday by USA Swimming.
The roster features 91 individuals, who posted the top-five times in each event among swimmers aged 18 and younger. The roster of 43 girls and 48 boys includes athletes from 28 states and 65 clubs, the latter an increase of 12 from last year.
Green leads the way as the only swimmer qualified in five events. Brito, the youngest swimmer on the team, is one of four to qualify in four events. Sheâs joined by Sydney Schoeck and Molly Sweeney on the girls team and Gabriel Manteufel on the boysâ side. Nine girls and four boys are qualified in three events, including open water.
The team includes 2025 World Junior champion Charlotte Crush as well as individual medalists David Melnychuk and Lily King.
âThis roster is full of new faces and is jam-packed with talent,â USA Swimming National Junior Team Director Brendan Hansen said in a press release. âWe are excited to offer these athletes international experiences and high-performance education to aid in their development. The National Junior Team is the steppingstone to our National Team and the U.S.âs highest level of competitions, so excitement is high to begin working with these athletes and coaches.â
